Embedded, Elastic Reinforcing Flashing Material
DualFlex is a reinforcing flashing that consists of a central strip of stretchy SEBS rubber flanked on either side by an absorbent non-woven felt. The felt allows for easy integration of the flashing and the waterproofing membrane. The SEBS rubber stretches to provide superior movement capability without compromising the waterproofing. DualFlex replicates reinforcement used in European waterproofing applications for many successful years.
Usage/Purpose
DualFlex is used as a flashing material at joints, at transitions in plane, at horizontal-to-vertical transitions and any other situation in waterproofing where a durable, reinforcing sheeting is desired. DualFlex is ideal for use with all TREMproof cold-applied liquid waterproofing membranes and all Vulkem deck coating basecoats.
