Saltwater Paragranular is a premium, high swelling, hydrophilic, granular, sodium bentonite. When in the presence of water, Saltwater Paragranular reacts and forms an impervious waterproof gel.

Usage/Purpose

Saltwater Paragranular is designed to work in conjunction with Tremco’s Paraseal waterproof membrane to form a impervious waterproof system. It is used to form a fillet/cove at all horizontal to vertical transitions, at floor/wall transitions and penetrations through horizontal surfaces, and to fill voids around substrate irregularities. It is specially formulated to react to brackish water and in coastal regions, where untreated sodium bentonite would otherwise not swell properly.
